Content Shoot Etiquette

With social media at the forefront of marketing and advertising, clients rely heavily on their agencies to provide and produce beautiful content to fill their feeds. Generating content for clients is what we do on the regular! It’s important to create a beautiful aesthetic that fits the brand. Aside from using reposts and tagged images, content shoots are necessary. Here are a few tips to help you smoothly and effectively complete a successful content shoot.

Come prepared. Have a shot list ready to go prior to the shoot and send it to the client to look over so that they know what to expect. Make sure the shot list is detailed with specifics on what you’ll be shooting, and of course things like date and time. Add inspiration photos so that the client can see what types of images you’ll be capturing.

Bring the right equipment. You’ll need a fully charged camera and any kind of lighting or props that might be necessary to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

Get creative. Once you have the shots you know that you need, don’t be afraid to have fun with it! Set scenes, keep your mind sharp. The Boomerang possibilities are endless!
